This Beautiful Wheel of the Year has been *Hand Decorated* with the Art of Pyrography.

**Alder Wood**

The Alder Tree is connected with the Elements of both Fire and Water which is unusual to possess both of these qualities. The Alder is known as the King of the Waters with the Willow tree being its Queen! In Greek mythology it is sacred to Phoronrus, the inventor of Fire, and when the Alder is cut the sap turns a firey Red! The Alder is also associate with the Fey and it is believed that the Door to the Faerie Realm is concealed within its Trunk.

**The Altar Plate**

Around the outer edge of this beautiful piece of Alder wood we have Burnt the Eight Witches Sabbats and their corresponding dates. At the centre of the Offering plate is a Moon Gazing Hare Design.
The Wheel of the Year shows the Natural cycle of Life. Through Birth, Life, Death and Rebirth the never ending Wheel Turns.
This Beautiful Offering Plate has been Hand Decorated and Measures approx 4 3/4" by 4 1/2" (12cm by 11.5cm) in diameter and is 3/8" (1cm) thick.
