Yew is one of the few Native British evergreens, an incredibly atmospheric Tree it can live for Thousands of years! The oldest British Yew, the Fortingall at Glen Lyon in Scotland is believed to be between 3000 and 5000 years old!
Sacred to the Goddess Hecate, the Crone Aspect of the Triple Goddess, it is the most Potent Tree for Protection against Evil and Wands made from the wood of a Yew are said to Banish Malevolent Forces

~The Wand~

This delightful Yew wand measures approx 11 3/4" (30cm) in length with a thickness of 1" (2.5cm) at its widest point which tapers to a gentle point. This exquisite wand has the most beautiful, warm tones and markings especially on its Hilt where there are several open Hollows. At the base of the Hilt I have pyrographed the word 'Protect' in Theban Script (the Witches alphabet) in one of these Hollows. This beautiful wand would be well suited to all forms of Earth Spells and Banishing Magic and especially Spells for Protection from Evil!

This wand will come complete with its own *Handmade* Black Velvet drawstring wand bag and two Spells:
