~The Dream Catcher~

This Dream Catcher Has been Handmade using Willow Wood and decorated with blue flash Labradorite Crystals and a hanging Selenite Crystal charm which shines like the Full Moon. We have also attached Pheasant and Guinea Fowl feathers and a White Macramé design with wooden beads.
Sitting over the Dream Catchers web is another piece of Willow wood with the Moons Phases pyrographed upon the carved wood.
Willow Wood is know for its connection with the Moon and Goddess and all parts of the Tree guard against evil and can be hung in your home to bring Protection!

The Triangle Measures approx 12" (30.5cm) along each length with a 7" (18cm) web size
The length from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the Macrame is 27" (69cm)

**Willow Wood**
The Willow Tree is strongly connected to the Moon and as such to the Goddess, this Wood will bring the Moon’s power to all magic Spells. Willow is a Feminine Tree and is an ideal wood to aid your own natural Intuition
All parts of the Willow guard against Evil and it can be used in Healing Spells. It is Traditionally used to Bind Witches Besoms and people would ‘Knock on a Willow tree’ (‘touch Wood’) to avert Evil or Bad Lick
Magical properties include: Protection, Healing, Power, Strength, Fertility, Luck and Wealth

~Dream Catchers~
Native Americans believe that the Night is filled with Dreams, Some are Good and some are Bad. The Dream Catcher was hung above the bed and with its intricate Web allowed the Good Dreams to pass through and drift gently down to the sleeping person beneath. The Bad dreams however would become lost and trapped within the Web which is were they would stay until the Light of day Banished them!

Traditionally they were made from Willow Wood that was either bent into a circular or Teardrop shape then the Web would be woven. Once complete it would be decorated with Leather, Beads and Feathers.
