~The 'Dark' Wand~

This delightful Oak wand measures approx 11 3/8" (29cm) in length with a thickness of 5/8" (1.5cm) at its widest point which tapers to a gentle point. This Wand was gathered from a fallen Oak branch from an Ancient local woodland called Cuckoo's Nook. It is a beautiful place with carpets of Bluebells and Wild Garlic in the Spring! The wood on this wand has lovely deep tones in cinnamon, chestnut, ebony and russet red with one large beautiful 'Eye like' Knot. I have retained a section of Bark on the Hilt of this wand which has several Hollows and Knots all within a silvery Bark with Deep Chestnut, Ebony and Russet Red Markings. It has a Natural bow forming a strong Grounding quality.
